Fettuccine Alfredo
Yesterday I made Fettuccine Alfredo. Yesterday I died and went to Heaven. You would think that something so wonderful and delicious would be a burden to make; not so!
This was way better than Olive Garden’s and I highly recommend that you take 15 minutes and make it, it is well worth the efforts (if you can even call it that).
Fettuccine Alfredo
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Fettuccine noodles
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 2 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon Dried Parsley Flakes
Prep Instructions:
Cook pasta according to package directions.
In a saucepan or skillet, warm butter and cream. Season with salt, freshly ground black pepper, garlic, and parsley. Grate Parmesan cheese and place half of it into a large serving bowl (LARGE). Pour warm butter/cream mixture over the top. Drain pasta and immediately pour it into the bowl. Toss a couple of times, then sprinkle in the other half of the Parmesan. Toss to combine, thinning with pasta water if necessary. Serve immediately and thoroughly enjoy!
